The starter motor is a piece that is placed between the engine and the gearbox. First, the lower fixing bolt which has a head of 13 millimeters must be removed. Disconnect the wire by pulling it out of the starter solenoid and remove the final 13mm bolt that goes from the gearbox to the starter. The starter motor is moved from the gearbox, shaking it a little and prying until it is removed. A screwdriver can be used to pull out the starter motor, once pulled out, the bolt is removed from it and the starter motor can be considered removed from the car.
