Replace the Remote Battery on Renault Trafic

If the central locking on your Renault Trafic stops working, it is likely due to interference or simply a flat battery inside the remote. To carry out this operation yourself at home, purchase a pack of CR 1220 3V lithium batteries from a retailer; you will only need one. To replace the battery, open the remote into two sections using a craft knife or flat screwdriver, prying at the top of the plastic cover. There are no further steps; once the cover is opened, you will immediately see the battery on the internal circuit board of the remote. Replace it and securely close the cover.
