In this video tutorial, see how to change the automatic gear knob on a Renault Megane 4. The first thing to do is buy a new gear knob, then get inside the vehicle, engage the handbrake, and put the gear lever in position D. Using a knife blade, remove the cover located under the gear lever, being careful not to damage the leather. Once this cover is removed, there are also some clips to take off. Now you can remove the gear knob and pull up the cover off the gear lever. Replace the faulty knob with the new, functioning one and reassemble all parts in reverse order.
