Replacement of Oil Feed Pipe

At the centre of the turbocharger is the so-called variable geometry which allows for the adjustment of the turbocharger; this is necessary to maintain the oil feed pressure as constant as possible across a wide range of engine RPM. The variable geometry of the turbines continuously regulates their power. Adjustable guide vanes can ensure this performance across a wide range of settings while maintaining a good level of efficiency. A low engine RPM corresponds to a lower gas pressure, therefore the guide vanes are adjusted to narrow the section in the turbocharger, thus inducing an increase in gas pressure. Conversely, high engine speeds also lead to an increase in exhaust gas pressure, causing the intake duct section to be increased by adjusting the position of the guide vanes. This system must be lubricated, which is why there is a pipe that controls the oil feed.
