Replacing the Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Model: Renault Megane Megane 3, Megane III - Years 2008-2015

Before applying the new gasket, it is essential to thoroughly clean the gasket seat, both on the cylinder head side and the manifold side, removing any dirt and/or deposits that could compromise adhesion and sealing. Once cleaned, apply the new gasket (made of metal to withstand high temperatures and the acidity of exhaust gases) aligning it with the dowel pins, then position the manifold and tighten the locking nuts using a torque wrench, following a cross-tightening pattern.
