Replacement of Alternator Belt

Model: Renault Scenic - Years 1996-2003

Lift the vehicle from the side, then remove the front wheel on the passenger side, the splash guard, and the protective cover to access the pulleys driven by the auxiliary belt; then loosen the tensioner located just behind the alternator and slide off the auxiliary belt, remembering the routing of the belt around the pulleys; check the compatibility of the new belt (number of grooves and length) and position it around the various pulleys respecting the routing; tension it using the appropriate tensioner and reassemble everything previously removed.
