Replacement of the Crankshaft Pulley

Model: Renault Megane Megane 1 - Years 1995-2003

Loosen the bolts of the front right wheel before lifting the vehicle, place it on suitable axle stands and complete the wheel removal; then remove the wheel arch lining by taking out the fixing screws and pressure clips; access the engine bay to remove the auxiliary belt tensioner and slide the belt off the pulleys; then remove the protective cover of the crankshaft pulley, slide off the auxiliary belt and proceed to remove the fixing bolt of the pulley itself, taking it out of its seat and work in reverse for the installation of the new one (consider whether to also replace the auxiliary belt).
