How to easily remove the Renault Trafic tachograph

Model: Renault Trafic MK 2 - Years 2001-2014
Part: Instrument cluster

Let's see how to easily remove the tachograph from the Renault Trafic (but the same methods also apply to the Nissan Primastar). First we remove the plastic frame, which in any case come off easily with a plastic spatula because they are simply attached with clips. Now with a Torx screwdriver no. 20 remove the screws that are at the base of the instrument panel. The instrument cluster now lifts easily, exposing the electrical connectors. The red connector is removed by rotating the black lever that we see in front. For the green connector, we will have to go behind it with our finger and look for the small button that allows us to remove it. At this point the instrument panel is free and you can remove it to carry out the necessary operations.

How to Install Roof Bars on a Fiat 500L

Learn how to fit universal roof bars on a Fiat 500L. These bars are used on vehicles with or without roof rails. Assemble the roof bar kit (as shown in the video) with bars adjusted to the width of the vehicle (measure with a tape measure). Position the brackets at both ends of the doors on the vehicle's original roof rails. Once the anchoring bracket width is set, tighten the bolts with a butterfly nut (if a lock is present) until fully secured to the roof rails. Fit safety caps on both sides.
