Let's see how to easily replace the gas struts of the rear tailgate of the Clio II: to work better, it will be useful to support the tailgate with a hydraulic jack, so it doesn't fall on your head. Disconnect the elastic ring that connects the gas support strut to the tailgate using a flat screwdriver. Disconnect the elastic ring that connects the gas support strut to the bodywork, again using a flat screwdriver. Now proceed with the installation of the new parts, starting from the top: snap the elastic ring that connects the gas support strut to the car's bodywork. Now you can remove the hydraulic jack that has held the tailgate up. Job done.
