Replacing the Cabin Filter in a Renault Clio.

There are two types of cabin air filters available for purchase from an authorised dealer: the white ones, known as pollen filters, which only block dust, and the black ones, which are activated carbon filters that also filter gases. To remove the old filter, get inside the vehicle, turn off the engine, and engage the handbrake; the cabin filter is located under the dashboard on the passenger side. Use your index finger to push upwards on the tab that secures the cover of the filter compartment and pull it upwards. Next, take hold of the filter and pull it down and towards you. Once the cabin filter is removed, simply replace it with the new one.
