How to Open the Bonnet of a Renault Clio Mk2

This guide shows the procedure for opening the engine compartment bonnet of the Renault Clio Mk2. The procedure is very simple and does not require any special tools. On the left front edge of the footwell, there is a small lever that, when pulled, releases the first catch of the engine compartment bonnet. At this point, you can complete the opening from the front of the vehicle. On the right side of the French manufacturer's logo, in the small gap created, is the lock lever. When pulled, you can lift the bonnet and secure it in position with the safety stay. To close the compartment, simply lower the bonnet into position.
