Renault Scenic - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Scenic MK 2, Scenic 2 - Years 2003-2009
Part: Steering wheel
Operation: How to replace the light switch on the Renault Scenic

The breaking of the spiral cable inside the light switch with the consequent switching on of the airbag warning light and the loss of operation of the steering wheel controls is a very recurring defect on many Renault and Nissan models that use the same type of spare part; in fact, a flat cable is coiled inside the light switch which, by turning the steering wheel, is damaged and interrupted; It is also possible to replace this cable rather than the entire light switch but in any case it will be necessary to remove it; first of all we suggest to disconnect the battery, remove the switch casing shells, release the airbag by inserting a screwdriver into the hole behind the steering wheel spoke in order to release the relative fixing spring, unscrew the steering wheel fixing pin and remove it from the steering column and finally unscrew the pin that tightens the switch fixing clamp, disconnecting the sockets to complete the disassembly.

How to reset the TPMS light of the Volkswagen Polo 2011

The orange tire light indicates the presence of one or more tires with an inflation pressure below the recommended limit. All this is easily solved by inflating them correctly or replacing them in the event of a puncture. After carrying out these operations it is necessary to reset the warning light and therefore also the sensor in order to have new reading data. All you have to do is start the car ignition and then fully open the glove compartment on the passenger side. Locate the two buttons in the right corner and press "Set". At this point the reset is complete and you can turn off the ignition.
