If we need to install a child seat for a small child on the front passenger seat of a Renault Scenic, we must proceed with deactivating the corresponding airbag, as the possible deployment of the inflatable system could cause harm to the passenger. To deactivate the airbag, open the passenger door and in the side section of the dashboard, find a selector surrounded by a red circle, press it, rotate the indicator to Off, and release it. To reactivate the airbag, press the selector and return it to On.
