In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the starter motor in the Renault Megane, a simple operation but one that requires good manual skills. First, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, then lift the front right side of the car with a jack. Next, remove the lower panel of the compartment, disconnect the collector and all indicated connectors, and locate the starter motor. At this point, disconnect the two power terminals, unscrew the mounting bolts, and extract the motor from its housing. Follow the reverse procedure to install the replacement.
