Next, locate the filter housing and remove the protective panel. Then, perform a drain by unscrewing the side nut, and once most of the diesel has drained, unscrew the housing using a 27mm socket.

At this point, remove the old filter, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
