Rear Shock Absorber Replacement

Model: Renault Espace MK 5 - Years 2015-2022

Replacing the rear shock absorbers is quite straightforward since the spring and damper are not coaxial like the front shock absorbers. Simply undo the respective mounting bolts; then lift the vehicle and remove the rear wheel and the wheel arch lining to gain more working space. Next, place a jack under the axle to support it during the disassembly process and unscrew the mounting bolts of the shock absorber eyes to remove it from its seat. Proceed in reverse to install the new one.
