Renault Espace - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Espace MK 5 - Years 2015-2022
Part: Shock absorbers
Operation: How to replace car shock absorbers

In the event that our car has traveled more than 100,000 km, it will be necessary to replace the shock absorbers. The latter, in fact, have the function of cushioning the vehicle's jolts and increasing its safety while facing a curve. We lift the left side of the car with the jack and then remove the wheel, taking care to remove all four bolts that hold it still. At this point, we will have to open the hood by operating the appropriate lever and removing all four screws that are positioned above the shock absorber. Subsequently, the two screws located on the axle shaft and the one placed on the stabilizer which is parallel to the shock absorber must also be removed. The shock will then come off by itself.
