To reset the service light on a Renault Laguna, start by inserting the card into its slot to power the instrument panel without starting the engine. Press the top button on the stalk that controls the wipers until the message "service in." appears. Once the message appears, hold down the bottom button on the stalk until the message stops flashing and the new mileage appears. Once the new mileage is displayed, return to the main screen using the top button on the stalk and finally switch off the instrument panel.
