If your car has covered many miles, the shock absorbers need to be replaced. These components are designed to absorb the vehicle's bumps.

This procedure can be done without going to your trusted mechanic. Obtain a compressor with a pneumatic gun, a jack, and a spring compressor tool.

Lift the left side of the car with the jack and remove the wheel, ensuring all four bolts holding it in place are removed. At this point, open the bonnet by operating the appropriate lever and remove all four screws located above the shock absorber.

Next, also remove the two screws on the half shaft and the one on the stabiliser parallel to the shock absorber. The shock absorber will then come out on its own.
