How to Reset the Maintenance Light on a Renault Captur

Model: Renault Captur MK 1 - Years 2013-2019
Part: Warning light – error code

If the wrench symbol flashes on the instrument cluster display, it means it's time for maintenance due to either mileage or time elapsed. After performing the regular maintenance by changing the engine oil and the corresponding filter, proceed to reset the service light manually without any diagnostic tools. Insert the key card and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Press the buttons located next to the wiper control lever to scroll through the menu options and select SERVICE INTERVAL. Hold for about 5 seconds to enter this function and view the remaining mileage or time until the next service. To execute the reset, keep holding the button until the command starts to flash.

How to Remove the Spark Plugs on an Opel Astra

Want to remove the spark plugs on an Opel Astra? Here's how to proceed: pull the engine bay release lever and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Remove the plastic cover on the soundproofing panel covering the engine (if present), then remove the pins on the coil bar using a screwdriver. Disconnect the coils by hand after unplugging the power connector, then use your socket to unscrew the spark plugs and pull them out of the cylinder head. Take the new spark plugs and guide them into the engine head with the socket extension, tighten them and reconnect the respective power connectors. Finally, close the engine bay.
