How to replace the engine oil filter and engine oil of the Renault Captur.

Today we will explain how to replace the engine oil and oil filter on a Renault Captur 1 vehicle. To perform the engine oil replacement, we need to open the front hood and unscrew the cap of the oil reservoir where we will insert the pre-oil change liquid, which should act inside the reservoir for at least 20 minutes to clean the reservoir during the drainage of the used oil. We lift the vehicle on a lift or on jack stands, unscrew the nut of the oil pan, and let the oil drain into a container. Using a 27 mm socket wrench, we loosen the nut of the oil filter to remove the casing. We clean the inside of the casing with a cleaner and a microfiber cloth; we place the new gasket on the filter casing and insert the new one before mounting the casing back in its place. We close the nut of the oil pan and lower the vehicle to the ground by removing the jack stands. We pour about four liters into the oil reservoir and close the cap.
