How to change the oil sump of a Renault 1.5 dCI engine

In this video, we will see how to remove the oil pan from a Renault 1.5 dCI engine: we need to lift the front part of the car and remove the wheels; unlock the oil tank bolt: place a large basin to drain all the oil from the oil pan, which will then be disposed of at an authorized center. Then, access the screws that support the metal plate from the driver's side. And then, from the passenger side, remove the supporting screws of the frame, which we will remove. We will need one or two blocks of wood of the right height to support the radiator. Now we can access the oil pan, but there are several screws to remove to unlock it, even in rather awkward positions; the last 18 require an extension: The oil pan may be stuck, so we must also pay attention to this detail. Clean the inside of the pan with brake cleaner, fine sandpaper, and solvent; mount the gasket and also clean the part of the engine where the pan needs to be reinstalled.
