How to Change the Oil Filter on a Captur

In this video, we will see how to change the engine oil along with the appropriate filter. Lift your car on a column lift and remove the plastic engine cover with a Torx screwdriver. Locate the filter cover that we will see later and the bolt under the oil sump next to the marked X. Unscrew it with a hex or square key; this will allow the oil to drain into a container for future disposal. After letting all the oil drain completely, re-screw the bolt in the sump and move on to the oil filter. Unscrew the large black filter cover, remove the old filter, and insert the new one. Check that the cap has adhered well to the metal base. Finally, top up the oil reservoir with the new fluid following the manufacturer's recommendations.
