On the Renault Scenic, the boot lid may become stuck, for example, due to a fault with the control button or the lock actuator. In this case, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, open the rear doors, then lower the backrest of the seat by operating the respective lever. Next, go into the boot area, locate the release mechanism, and activate it using a flat-head screwdriver.

The tailgate will now be free to open.
