Front Shock Absorber Replacement

A simple task that you can easily do on your own with the help of this quick guide, which will explain how to save money and time by doing this replacement yourself. After removing the affected wheel, lubricate the parts you need to unscrew to remove the components. Once you have slightly pressurised the shock absorber, you can remove the bolts that secure the piston and suspension cylinder to release it. Now, you will need to remove a couple of reservoirs from the top of the bonnet to access the butterfly that secures the shock absorber from above. This way, you can extract it and carry out the necessary replacements.
