How to Reset the Maintenance Key on a Renault Scenic

If the service light (yellow light with a spanner symbol) illuminates on the instrument cluster display, it indicates that it is time for maintenance due to either mileage or time limit reached. Once you have completed the regular maintenance, you need to reset the light. This is a manual procedure that does not require any diagnostic tools. Insert the key card into the appropriate slot and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Using the upper button located next to the windscreen wiper control lever, select the maintenance option from the menu and hold it down to perform the reset.
