In this video, we see how the YouTuber tested the problem of his Renault Scenic IV that had a damp boot. He removed all the carpet from the boot, then slowly poured water over the joint of the open boot, and with the help of a friend, carefully checked where the water was flowing from. He could see with his own eyes from which holes the water was coming; in most cases, it was due to damaged seals that could be fixed with silicone. In one instance, it was necessary to remove a light unit because water was also leaking through the connections with the rear light. Once the seals were rebuilt, he could refit the now dry carpet and solve the problem.
