In this video, we are shown how to adjust the handbrake on the Renault Clio 2. For this procedure, we would need a lift or some jacks, and a socket wrench with adapters of 10 mm and 13 mm. First, we need to lift the car, then we need to position ourselves under the car, at the height of the door lock, at this point we need to unscrew the four support screws of the exhaust heat shield using the 10 mm wrench, then remove the heat shield. Now, using the 13 mm wrench, adjust the nut that controls the handbrake cable, once the handbrake is adjusted, reassemble the heat shield by screwing back the four 10 mm screws and the job is complete.
