In this video, see how to proceed with the removal of the external wing mirror on a Saab 93. Using a plastic or rubber lever, pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Apply leverage until the damaged glass detaches from the mirror; this is a delicate operation as the glass or the mirror itself may break.

Once the damaged mirror glass is removed, fit the new piece. Ensure the plastic clips snap into place on the mirror supports (apply pressure on the mounting base).
