Replacing Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Model: Saab 9 5 MK 1, Ys3e - Years 1997-2010
Part: Engine

Once you have removed the exhaust manifold and the old gasket, clean the gasket seating thoroughly, both on the head and on the manifold, to eliminate any residues and ensure the perfect adhesion of the new gasket. Once cleaning is complete, insert the new gasket between the fixing studs and then apply the manifold, ensuring it adheres evenly. Proceed to tighten the nuts using a torque wrench and a cross-tightening pattern, as used when securing cylinder heads, to ensure the greatest possible uniformity.
