How do you replace the gear knob with the leather gaiter on a Seat Ibiza? This video shows you how to do it. First, use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame and its retaining clips from the edge of the centre console. Then, grasp the gear knob and pull it upwards until it detaches from the shaft. For reassembly: take the gaiter with the plastic frame and insert it onto the rod on the centre console, then fit the new gear knob and secure it. Finally, attach the plastic frame with the locking clips on the centre console.
