How to disassemble the central tunnel of the Seat Ibiza 6L

In this video, we will see how to disassemble the central tunnel of the Seat Ibiza 6L: in this case, we need to replace the cigarette lighter socket, so it is necessary to disassemble the tunnel. First, we need to remove the frame of the gear shift boot, which is just snapped in. Once removed, we see that there are two torx screws that need to be removed; there are two more in the glove compartment on the rear side of the tunnel (some versions have a cup holder in the same place). In any case, we remove the glove compartment or cup holder and remove the other two torx screws. We also remove the snap-in tray located under the handbrake. At this point, we can remove the tunnel: the only difficulty is the electrical plug of the cigarette lighter, which must be disconnected before removing the body of the tunnel.
