How to Change the Brake Disc and Pads on a Seat Altea

Model: Seat Altea MK 1 - Years 2004-2015

Let's see how to replace the front brake pads along with the disc on a Seat Altea. First, lift the car on a column jack to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a socket wrench or air drill) with the respective bolts. Unscrew the locking bolt of the brake caliper and remove it from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads from the caliper of the wheel hub, remove the brake caliper and then the disc. Install the new disc and the new pads onto the caliper, then mount the brake caliper with the support onto the brake disc. Tighten all the bolts and refit the wheel. Prepare to perform the same operations on the other calipers present on the vehicle.
