Replacing the gear knob on a Seat Ibiza car is a simple and quick operation that can be done independently. To begin the replacement, remove the gear lever gaiter and insert a removal tool inside the plastics to lift the plastic block. After removing the block, lift part of the gaiter and cut the locking strap using pliers. After removing the strap, lower the fabric and pull the knob upwards, using pliers if necessary. Insert the gaiter into the gear lever bracket and push the knob inwards; secure it with the strap and insert the plastic into the lower dashboard.
