Replacement of Rear Light Bulb and Removal of Light Unit

Model: Seat Altea MK 1 - Years 2004-2015
Part: Tail light bulb

Open the boot, locate the square-shaped cap on the side trim, and remove it: inside you will see the plastic nut securing the light unit; unscrew the nut and disconnect the connector. Now unscrew the other securing screws of the light unit located at the edge between the light unit and the boot, and pull it forward to extract it from its housing; then remove the screws securing the bulb holder, disconnect it, and replace the blown bulb with a new one (bayonet fitting). Reposition the bulb holder and reassemble by reversing the steps.
