Replacing the Key Battery on a Seat Ibiza

Let's look at replacing the key battery on a Seat Ibiza. Remove the cover plastics to access the key battery, and see how to do it. Use a screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key (in the space above the plastic of the key). Pry until the key separates from the key fob. Separate the plastics of the key and extract the worn battery with a small screwdriver, then take a new one of the same size and voltage. Install the small battery inside the key and reassemble the two plastics. Secure the key fob back onto the plastic of the key.
