Replacing windscreen wiper blades on the Seat Ibiza

You usually realise it’s time to replace the windscreen wiper blades only when the rainy season starts, and you find yourself in the middle of a downpour with wipers that refuse to clear the windscreen. Keeping the wipers in good condition is very important, so during a wash, lift the wipers and check the condition of the rubber, which should be intact and free of cracks. To replace the wipers on this Ibiza, first put them in rest mode, meaning in a vertical position, so you can lift the wiper arm without risking scratching the bonnet. Once the arm is lifted, press the plastic button to release the lock and remove the old blade; then insert the new one, aligning the guide and pushing it in until the locking mechanism clicks into place.
