To replace the remote key battery for the Seat Ibiza, use a screwdriver to pry open the groove above the buttons and the logo. This will allow you to remove the top part with the key and separate the two halves of the lower part.

This will give you access to the battery, which must be removed from its housing and replaced with a new part. After replacement, close the remote by sealing the two halves and reinserting the top part to which the key is attached.
