Replacing the Key Battery on Seat and Skoda Cars

Model: Seat Leon MK 3, 5F - Years 2012-2019

The first step to replace the key battery is to open the remote. To do this, slide the tab at the top and remove the manual spare key from the casing. Once done, use a small flathead screwdriver to remove the remote cover as shown in the video. Voila! Here is the battery. Leveraging underneath with the small flat screwdriver previously used, extract the battery from its housing and replace it. Reassemble the remote by reversing the steps and test its functionality.
