How to Replace the Shock Absorber Mount on a Seat Ibiza.

To replace the shock absorber mount on a Seat Ibiza, lift the vehicle with a jack and support it with two axle stands (never rely solely on your jack). Remove the wheel and clean the mount thoroughly with a wire brush; spray WD40 on the parts to be unscrewed; if possible, use a power tool to make the job easier. Then, loosen the upper fixing element of the shock absorber and clean the surface well to remove the mount; now replace the part (it costs £22.60 on eBay, with free delivery) and secure it to the shock absorber. Refit it to the vehicle by reversing the operations: first, spray it with copper grease. Secure it at the top first, then at the bottom, using your power tool. Apply plenty of copper grease. You can reposition the rubber and lower the vehicle. The job is complete.
