With the advent of the electronic handbrake, to replace the brake pads on the Seat Leon (as with all other cars), you need to deactivate the electronic locking system. In this regard, some apps can help you access the car's CPU to perform certain operations.

There are several available, and to access them, simply connect your mobile phone to the car via Bluetooth and open the application. From the app's list, select "Start Brake Pad Change Mode" or similar titles.

The operation will take 20-30 seconds to complete. Once you have replaced the pads, remember to return to the app to reset the handbrake by exiting the brake pad change mode.

How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning Light on a Kia Rio?

The tyre pressure warning light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Kia Rio can be reset by inflating the tyres until they reach the recommended pressure value: this value is indicated on the sticker affixed to the driver's door pillar. Once all tyres have been inflated to the recommended pressure, turn on the ignition to check that the light has disappeared: if it is still present, it may be necessary to drive for a few miles, allowing the sensors to work and thus turning off the light.
