How to change the rear discs and pads of the Seat Leon.

On the SEAT Leon from the tutorial, the process begins with preparation: first, the car is shown in the workshop, and immediately after, we move to the cabin to put the dashboard in a condition suitable for the intervention. Then, we move on to the practical part at the rear axle: the vehicle is lifted with a jack and stand, and the rear wheel is removed, exposing the caliper and disc completely. When we reach the rear brake assembly of the SEAT Leon, we work on the caliper: the fasteners are unscrewed, and the caliper is removed and held up while the brake pads are freed. At that point, the hub/disc area is also clearly visible, with the typical rusted parts of a system that has already been in use for a while. In the next phase, the disc is removed, and the hub is cleaned with a wire brush, focusing specifically on the seat where the disc rests, so the new disc can sit straight and without vibrations. Before installing the new disc on the SEAT Leon, a product is applied to the central part of the hub (the tube and the paste spread on the centering are clearly visible), and then the new disc is positioned in place. At this point, we return to the caliper: the pin/sliding element is treated with a small amount of grease, and the caliper body is reassembled with the new pads, placing everything back in the correct position in front of the disc. Once the brake part is closed, the wheel is reattached to the SEAT Leon, and everything is tightened.
