Fitting the Rear Light Fitting on the Seat Arona

Let's see how to fit the rear light fitting on the Seat Arona. We will use the light fitting from a Fiat 600: first, create a template from cardboard to facilitate cutting the headlining, measuring 5.5x11 cm. Apply it to the headlining where you want to fit the light fitting, using bodywork tape, then cut with a craft knife. Now, perform the connection: remove the two screws from the light fitting using a 15 mm Torx screwdriver, then pull the light fitting down and disconnect the connector from the front light fitting to work on the wiring; there are 5 wires, but we are only interested in the brown, red, and blue ones. Pull 3 wires from the front hole to the rear one, then solder the three wires to the connector of the light fitting: the left wire connects to the brown wire of the Seat light fitting, the centre wire to the red one, and the right wire to the blue one. Connect the light fitting, then cover the wires with a suitable sheath to prevent exposed wires from touching, then bridge the wires to those of the connector, securing the connections with insulating tape. Refit the light fittings inside the headlining and you're done.
