Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Seat Altea MK 1 - Years 2004-2015

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, just below the glove compartment: to access the filter housing, remove the plastic cover secured with three screws and two clips; once you reach the air duct housing, remove the cap from the cabin air filter container and pull it out of its housing, ensuring there are no dirt residues, and insert the new filter (active carbon filters are recommended) orienting it according to the direction of the airflow indicated by the arrows printed on the filter itself. When replacing the filter, it is advisable to sanitise the cabin with a germicidal spray.
