- Years 2002-2009 To reset the oil indicator light on a 2008 Seat Ibiza, model L, you will need to: with the instrument panel turned off, press and hold the button/dial located to the right of the odometer. Keep holding this button until the oil change indicator light turns off from the instrument panel display. Once the light has turned off, you can release the button and turn on the instrument panel to verify that the reset has been successfully performed. It is important to remember to perform this action only if the service has been carried out at an authorized dealership.
