Today's steps will show you how to remove and replace the thermostat on a Seat Altea XL 1.4, following the instructions below. First, lift the vehicle and disconnect the coolant hose from the radiator by loosening the metal clip screw and draining the fluid into a container; then, unscrew the thermostat screws to remove it and replace it with the new original one, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the cap of the coolant reservoir and top up; fill it to the maximum level mark!
