Replacement of the gear shift knob of the Skoda Fabia 2

Model: Skoda Fabia Mark2, 5J - Years 2007-2014

If the knob and gearshift boot of the Skoda Fabia are worn out or if we want to replace them with more visually appealing models, let's see how to proceed with the replacement. Using a screwdriver, or even better a plastic lever, remove the chrome ring at the base of the boot, then use the same tool to detach the base of the boot and pull it upwards. Loosen the metal clamp at the base of the knob with a pointed tool, grip the knob and pull firmly upwards to remove it along with the boot. Insert the new knob, center it, lock the clamp, insert the base of the boot into its slot, and lock it with the chrome ring.
