Removing Gear Knob on Skoda Fabia

Do you need to replace the gear knob and gaiter on your Skoda Fabia? Let's see how to remove them. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame and open the securing clip. Take the knob in your hands and rotate it left and right until you remove it from the gear stick. For installation, take the new gaiter and slide it onto the stick in the centre console, securing it along with the new knob. Tighten the clip between the stick and the knob. Finally, test the movement of the stick in the centre console to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
