How do you replace the cabin fan resistor of the Škoda Fabia?

In order to replace the cabin fan resistor of the Škoda Fabia, you need to open the glove compartment located on the passenger side. This will then be detached from its housing by removing the internal clips and identifying the components in its back. The resistor will be located right next to the fan itself and can be freed from the appropriate cables connected to it; you can then insert the new resistor, connecting and securing it properly. It will then be possible to reinsert the compartment after ensuring that everything is functioning correctly.
