How do you reset the Service light on the Škoda Octavia?

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 2, 1Z - Years 2004-2012

The Service light that lights up on the instrument panel of the Škoda Octavia can be reset by holding down the button located in the center of the instrument panel, immediately below the central display. While holding down this button, the instrument panel must be deactivated: subsequently, it will be possible to insert the ignition key and turn it to turn on the instrument panel. In this way, after a few seconds, it will be possible to notice that the maintenance interval will be reset and that the Service light will disappear from the instrument panel; the instrument panel can then be turned off.
